National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, introduced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to evaluate and rank higher educational institutions across the country based on well-defined parameters of academic quality and institutional performance. NIRF serves as one of the most prestigious national ranking systems and plays an important role in promoting excellence, transparency, accountability, and competitiveness among institutions of higher education.
The NIRF ranking framework assesses institutions on various criteria including Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research & Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach & Inclusivity, and Perception. Participation in NIRF enables institutions to undertake systematic self-assessment, strengthen quality enhancement practices, and benchmark their performance against leading institutions at the national level. Our institution has been actively participating in the NIRF ranking process for the last three years as part of its commitment towards continuous academic improvement, institutional development, and quality assurance initiatives under the guidance of the IQAC.
